Seattle・シアトル

April 28th-30th were spend in the Seattle area. After a long and painful border queue, we celebrated making it into the country with some real American fare...４月２８－３０日はYさんとシアトルで過ごした。土曜日にアメリカに入ったので国境はちょっと大変だった。でも、グループ全員(南アフリカ人、日本人、アメリカ人）入れたのですぐアメリカでランチで祝った！「ボブのレストラン」と言うところでやっぱりアメリカ料理。。。Sodas...

 バーガー...Burgers...fries...

 シーザーサラダ！ 
And salad (yes, there was a healthy eater among us!)

二時間ちょっと南のほうへドライブするとシアトルにいる。近いなー。
Two hours or so south of the border is the beautiful (if perennially cloudy) Seattle.

 夕飯はおしゃれなSalty'sで。 
Dinner was a magnificent evening at the very fancy Salty's.

 シーフードがおいしかった。 The seafood was great...

 野菜も。。。The veggies were good too...

 でも、やっぱりシーフードが最高！

But it was the seafood that really stood out. 

 別腹があってよかった。 Thank goodness we had room for dessert!
