Back from the weekend...カナダへ帰った

We got back late last night...I am going to bed too late tonight as well so I will write properly tomorrow...for now, have a silly picture. 昨日帰ってきた。今日も遅く寝ているので明日またちゃんと投稿します。一応変な写真を。

Going to see the baby! 赤ちゃんのところへ

We are going to see the baby on Friday, so I won't blog on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday...have a nice weekend everyone....金曜日にともだちのあかちゃんを始めて会います！超楽しみ！ブログはしばらく休みます！良い週末を！

Ethiopian coffee...エチオピアのコーヒー

The other day L found a great Ethiopian store...she bought coffee beans...この間Lがエチオピアのお店を見つけて、いいコーヒー豆を買った。。。

...and roasted them...焼く途中。。。

Raw beans on the left and cooked on the right...焼いていない豆と焼いた豆。。。

Using a nice French press, she made coffee... これを使ってコーヒーを作った。。。

Don't those beans look great? この豆すごくない？

綺麗な街 Beautiful Vancouver

There are some beautiful buildings in this city...この街ッ綺麗なビルがあって。。。

どう？Not bad, eh?

韓国スーパー Korean supermarket

I used to eat these in Japan...ah, the nostalgia...日本で結構食べた！懐かしい！

あれ？　鳥のリブって食べるの？ Chicken ribs?　Really?

I think they meant POWDER!!　パワーじゃなくて、「粉末」はパウダーだ！

Much easier to get into a bag than those big suckers..

A fun day in Vancouver...バンクーバーで遊んだ

We had a lovely day with a friend in Vancouver...which culminated in a delightful mean! I had octopus balls...今日は友達とバンクーバーでちょっと遊んだ。引越しの手伝えもやったけど楽しいランチも食べた！たこ焼き、美味しかった！

 L had spicy tuna sashimi...Lはお刺身。。。

 We shared a tuna-avocado roll...これはシェアした（私はほとんど一人で食べた！)

 And J had a beef rice bowl...友達は牛丼。。。

 And then we went to a candy store where my fun food childhood flashed before my eyes...それでこのキャンディーストーアに入った！小さいごろに食べた物ばっかり！

 

Yes, I ate LOTS of these...これも懐かしい！！！

Fog and facial fun 美顔エステやった！

This morning the weather was so bad, driving was a challenge. Difficult to see in front of the car, or the top of nearby buildings (less of a challenge while driving). 今朝、天気はすごく悪かった。霧が大変で、ビルの一番上見えなかった！運転がちょっと心配だった。

I had a facial this morning...it was my third one ever and I really enjoyed it! I think I will have to do it every month from now on! 今日は美顔エステをやった。今日は三回目で、今まで一番よかったところ！これから毎月やろうかな。。。

 I did #3, the collagen facial...3番目を試してみた。。。コラーゲンエステだって。。。どうかな。。。

オソユース町でお仕事 Working in Osoyoos...

オソユース町で仕事しいた時、お天気が素晴らしかった。仕事が忙しかったけどちょっといい写真撮れた。I was working in Osoyoos recently and the weather was great...pity I didn't get to explore more...

 このホテルに泊まった。This is the hotel where I stayed...

プールがあったけど残念ながら使えなかった。It wasn't bad but the pool was covered...too bad...

ちょっと砂漠っぽくない？ The palm trees were nice...

いいね。。。 Actually, it was a beautiful setting...

   綺麗な花もあった。。。The desert flowers were nice, too...

いい天気で気分転換できた。I hope I get to go back soon to enjoy the sunshine...

Healthy brekkie! 健康的な朝食

On Saturday, I really wanted a healthy drink for breakfast, so I had a beet, carrot, apple, ginger juice.　土曜日、健康的なジュースを飲みたくて、これを頼んだ：リンゴ、ビーツ、生姜、や人参の入っているジュース！

My breakfast is on the right, and L's is on the left...hers leaves a lot to be desired in the health department! Lの朝食は左側で、私のは右。どっちが健康だろう。。。

Working in Penticton...ペンチクトン市でお仕事

先週、ペンチクトンしに行ってきた。綺麗ななところだった！ 仕事をちょっとサボりながらお散歩した！I was in Penticton last week for work and managed to take a bit of time off to take a nice walk...

いいところじゃない？ It was a really nice walk...

このホテルはまあまあだった。The Penticton hotel wasn't great..

ゆっくり休めたけど。。。...but I was able to relax just fine...

Too tired to write...was out all day in Vernon so the pigs say HI and GOOD-NIGHT! 信じられないほど疲れているので。。。明日また投稿します。。。

Da duck! アヒルちゃん！

アヒルちゃんは最近さむいのでこのかっこう。。。It's been pretty cold recently so this is how the ducks as dressed...

今日はカナダの感謝祭で、ターキーをよーく食べる。やっぱりアヒルちゃんはこの格好。。。And now it is Canadian Thanksgivings so here's the duck's latest outfit :-)

My new hobby... 新しい趣味！

I decided that I needed to get up and moving this Autumn, because I don't want to sleep the season away...So I joined the local community centre gyms. I am trying to do this in the morning...秋だからエネルギーがなくなりそう。健康が心配で、ジムの4ヶ月使い放題プランに登録して、がんばっています！

 Usually a lot of time on the treadmill...これをよく使っています！

 But the great part is I can see outside, so that is fun!　窓もあって結構楽しい！

Carrots at work! 仕事での人参

I have been at a lot of meetings lately. Luckily this one was in Vancouver, not too far from home. 最近は会議ばっかりです。この間はバンクーバーの会議があって、運良く家よりそんなに遠くなかった。

It was held in a lovely church in Kerrisdale--the building is 100 years old.　100年ぐらい前にできた協会で会議を行った。すばらしい環境だった。

It is difficult to eat properly while on the road, but I managed valiantly to have lots of carrots on this day...会議が多いと悪いものばっかり食べる。今回は人参たくさん食べれてよかった！健康的だね！
