If you go to Seattle, you have to check out Pike's Place Market. It is an absolute must, right on the water with fabulous sights and sounds to entice and amuse the senses. シアトルといえばパイクス・プレース。有名な市場でとても楽しいところです。

The most amazing pasta (we bought some chocolate linguine)...チョコ味パスタも買って。。。
And great stuff made out of honey or beeswax. 蜂蜜(はちみつ）や蜜ろう（みつろう）で作られているものもいっぱいあります。
There was even a bear made out of jelly baby bears! お菓子で作られている熊ちゃんも見た。
Check out the light fitting. I wonder how many people walk past without even noticing. 外のライトも面白かった。気づかないで通る人もいるでしょう。
It's good to smell the roses, but it is also good to look up sometimes, too. There were at least four of these guys dotted about the place. ４人もいた。
The original Starbucks is by Pike's Place. スターバの本店を訪ねた。
It opened in 1971 and has been doing a roaring trade ever since. １９７１年にオープンだって。
