Back in Eugene ユージーンに戻った

We are back in Eugene, Oregon. We arrived Friday 15th January and hopefully we are here to stay.  Before I change the blog to a US diary, I am going to remind myself what happened in January because I have not been blogging very regularly.

Jan. 1st: in Canada (finished up UWLM work and sent off invoice)
Jan 2nd: packing
Jan 3rd: rented cargo van; games evening at pizza place on Keefer with J+M
Jan 4th: hired strong guys to carry boxes downstairs and into the cargo van (took them 31 minutes); we had dinner at Cotto with L's friends from work
Jan 5th: drove a cargo van down to Eugene
Jan 6th: unloaded cargo van and spent time with friends
Jan 7th: drove cargo van back up to Eugene
Jan 8th: returned the cargo van; dim sum lunch with friends from D's work; banking; dinner at Osteria with NJ
Jan 9th: cleaning and shopping and preparation for NJ's retirement party; party 2pm-8pm; after-party at J's house; bad night
Jan 10th: very low-energy morning at home; lunch with S+E+N at Mahoney's; dinner with BAH crew at Chorine's
Jan 11th: hanging with E+N at coffee shop; lunch with JW on Cambie; dinner with M at Metrotown
Jan 12th: lunch at Kingyo; stopped in at E+N; tea with CK; home in the evening
Jan 13th: picked up car in Bellingham; light lunch with M in White Rock; L's car in for service; packing car
Jan 14th: breakfast quiche at NJ's; cleaning; packing; Shaw stuff back and banking; more cleaning and packing; pizza dinner at J+L's; cleaning and packing until late
Jan 15th: final cleaning and packing; left at 9:30; Canadian Tyre; gas; drove down to Eugene

That means we were in Canada 10 days in January (we were in the US for all/part of the other 5 days Jan 1-15).  Just making sure my memory is good.
